Also on Sunday night, funny man Andy Cohen, hosted the official Watch What Happens Live! after-party at The Beatles REVOLUTION Lounge at The Mirage Resort & Casino during their popular LGBT weekly event, Closet Sundays, coming straight from judging this year’s Miss USA Pageant and filming an episode of the Bravo show. Cohen, along with Brovo’s Million Dollar Listings stars Madison Hildebrand and Josh Flagg entertained partygoers all night long, giving shout-outs on the mic and dancing to the sounds of the DJ who kept energy levels high, mixing up sounds behind the turntable. Other guests on-hand for the fete, including Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Caroline Manzo, and Emmy Award-winning writer, Bruce Vilanch, who was in town judging Celine Dion’s performance at her sold-out show in Las Vegas gig, spent the evening mingling with friends while sipping on speciality cocktails and playing with REVOLUTION’s interactive table tops.

Bruce Sightings – Boston

No joke, it’s Vilanch
The guy hanging out at Club Cafe over the weekend who looked a lot like famous comedy writer Bruce Vilanch was indeed Bruce Vilanch. The shaggy-haired joke writer and former star of “Hairspray’’ on Broadway was in town for a fund-raiser at nightclub Royale to benefit the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus. Vilanch mingled in Club Cafe’s new Napoleon Room during his stay.

Gay luncheon

SF was very much on the mind of Hollywood boldface names Mitzi Gaynor and Bruce Vilanch , who met for lunch last week at LA hot-spot The Ivy to prepare for the big salute to Miss Mitzi at the Castro Theatre coming up on July 25.

We hear it was the first time that Bruce and Mitzalla had seen each other in years, darlink, and the feathers (and sequins) were flying. The legendary pair dined on Chef Richard Irving ’s exquisite cuisine. Patrons at the posh eatery tried to listen in as the dynamic duo merrily bantered about how, during their joint appearance on a Danny Thomas special in 1966, Gaynor first met and became galpals with Cher , who was still wearing bearskin vests at the time.

Now the dames wear Mackie — five of whose gowns will be on display at the Castro — thank you for asking. If the gayles of laughter emanating from their table gave any indication of what will transpire during their on-stage gab-fest at the Castro, run, don’t dawdle, to purchase your ticket today. Gaynor is not to be missed!
